Advocates from API Chaya
Confidential, emotional support, safety planning, and resource support
May be helpful to speak with if someone would like support moving through difficult emotions, situations, and support with grounding. Folks can sit quietly with an advocate if they would like a chill space to retreat to, and they are also invited to share what’s come up for them, and can receive support with any problem solving/option brainstorming, if they would like.
API Chaya advocates are mandated reporters
If you are not able to leave your location, please flag down anyone with a staff badge and they will ask de-escalation folks to come to you
Security
Provided by the Blaq Elephant Party
Please don’t hesitate to let them or us know if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable
